Our Operations

The Intermediate Care Unit (IMA) belongs to the area of operations: medicine. The unit consists of 5 beds and is the hospital's highest level of care. This means that the unit has the capacity to care for both patients with circulatory failure and those who require advanced airway treatment. Patients are cared for with a wide range of diagnoses, primarily within medical specialties. Some outpatient activities occur, including scheduled electrical cardioversions on a regular basis.

The pace is varied, and at times the unit can have a high turnover of patients. Unit-specific treatments include NIV, Optiflow, and also patients who, for medical reasons, need to be treated in a ventilator for a limited period. All beds are equipped with monitoring monitors. We who work here are a mix of very experienced nurses and nursing assistants, along with some younger and newer colleagues. We are a small team of about 30 employees, which makes our unit a personal and pleasant workplace.

Your Mission

As a nursing assistant, you work in all parts of the unit and in teams with other staff around the patient. Together with a nurse, you are responsible for the basic care of 1-3 patients. Here, there is truly an opportunity for good and close care. Other usual tasks for nursing assistants in an intermediate care unit include monitoring vital parameters, taking samples, assisting with medical procedures, etc.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or a nursing student with at least four completed semesters. Previous experience in inpatient care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a flexible and curious approach with good collaboration skills. We want you to be an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment, and we place great importance on personal suitability. You should also be interested in advanced care, technical equipment, and teamwork.

We Offer

We offer a summer temporary position scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. The vacation period extends from week 25 to 33. The degree of employment can be discussed; we prefer that you can work most of the period. There is an opportunity for continued hourly employment if we enjoy working together.
